Jamaica
There's a reason why Jamaica is the most popular island in the most popular region for newlyweds on Earth. In fact, there are several. One simple explanation is that Jamaica was one of the first Caribbean Islands to open to the public. Since 1962, the island nation has been welcoming newlyweds and they are very good at it. Several all-inclusive resorts were designed specifically for the 125,000 honeymooners that come to Jamaica each year. The island has one of the most equable climates in the Caribbean with average daytime temperatures in the 70s to the 90s year-round.

Florence
For couples who enjoy sightseeing, culture and gourmet food, Florence is a must-see. As the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance, the city is home to some of the most magnificent museums on earth. From architecture to sculpture to painting, Florence is the art capital of Italy. Work from legendary Renaissance masters like Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael and Leonardo da Vinci can all be found in local museums. Americans account for of an incredible 20 percent of total guests, far more than any foreign nationality. Did we forget to mention that Florence is also the capital of Tuscany, one of the world's premier wine-growing regions?

Maui
As the second-largest of the Hawaiian Islands, Maui is often passed over by tourists who enjoy the creature comforts more commonly found on the most populous island in the chain, Oahu. But Maui offers something many islands cannot—adventure. Though it is far from an untamed wilderness, Maui provides jungle and volcano tours and the best hiking in the region in Waianapanapa State Park. Oh, and the beaches are brilliant and the day spas are to die for, just in case you want to relax.

Paris
The city of light and love has been the most visited metropolis on earth for many years now. For couples who have never been to European, Paris is the ultimate honeymoon destination. And can you blame them? Paris boasts many of the planet's best restaurants, famous museums like the Louvre, and unforgettable sights like the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. The main drawback is that Paris tends to be pricier than the other destinations on our list. Then again, how many first honeymoons will you have?

Las Vegas
As the wedding chapel capital of the world, Las Vegas seems like an obvious choice for a honeymoon destination. But that isn't always the case. The truth is some newlyweds love the idea of a vacation in Sin City and others do not. Generally speaking, Las Vegas in not a relaxing environment, but some couples thrive on its action and energy.
