When you think of travel, what is the first thing that comes to mind? For some, it’s walking along the beautiful beaches of the Caribbean, exploring the ancient ruins of Rome, or scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef. Travel opens up our eyes to new destinations and cultures. It can be life-changing and teach you so many new things! For me, one of these magical opportunities is right around the corner. I am about to embark on a journey of a lifetime. Follow me, as I explore China with Wendy Wu Tours and Liberty Travel!

Great Wall
Wendy Wu Tours has been in the tour business since July 1998. The company originated in Australia and has now expanded to both the UK and the US. With a wide range of itineraries, they help travelers visit the well-known tourist attractions, to the lesser-known charms to appeal to even the most varied of tastes. Watch this short video and learn more about how they’re helping people all over the world discover the beauty of China:
My trip will be a custom 8 day / 7 night escorted tour throughout China. Here’s a look at the highlights and attractions I am looking forward to:

I’ll be seeing some of the nation’s most famous landmarks, experiencing varied cultures, and taking in breathtaking landscapes. And I’ll be doing it all with experienced travel guides. Every Wendy Wu Tour is fully inclusive. That means everything from meals, to transfers, to attractions, and more are handled as part of your packaged tour. To me, this means less stress and more time for exploring…which I like very much!

I'm just a little bit excited.
Before departure, Wendy Wu Tours provides their travelers with an extensive travel guide. I’ve found this extremely useful as it points out important information like electricity, currency, appropriate attire, and more. They also equip you with a phrasebook that contains commonly used words and sentences, along with the proper pronunciation. It’s a guide to practical Chinese, which for someone like me who knows zero Mandarin, will be very helpful (airplane reading material!).
Join me over the next few days as I get ready for my big trip. And then, make sure you connect on social media while I’m traveling. I’ll be adding new blog posts, fun photos to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and G+. And, of course, we’re on Instagram (search @libertytravel). I can’t wait to take you all along virtually as I discover the wonders of China!
Happy Travels,
