My favorite thing about being a travel consultant is helping my clients create memorable vacations like the ones I've been lucky to experience. For example, I was traveling to Italy and the first stop on my itinerary was a small town in the Puglia region. It took almost 30 hours to get there without any delays. I found a restaurant, asked for a glass of wine, and ordered a meal. The waiter brought a bottle of wine and a delicious meal. I have no idea how I found my way back to my villa. And if I have the chance I would do it all again, because it was absolutely amazing. After that trip, I never leave home without aspirin and if I don't speak the language, I take a guided tour.
