One hundred and forty-one acres.
Seven million gallons of water.
Sounds like the set of some Hollywood blockbuster, right? Not quite - it’s Aquaventure at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. But Aquaventure is more than just a water park. It’s an experience, tying together thrilling slides and rapids, enchanting waterfalls and water holes, and “first of its kind special effects and technology.” And because some of the rides are dark, the special effects take precedence and create a unique experience – one that changes every time you ride. Using fire, water, mechanical systems, smoke and fog, and video technology, the ride isn’t just about the thrill – it’s about a one-of-a-kind experience.
