Although we talk a lot about travel, make no mistake—our business is all about people. At Liberty Travel, our customers always come first. Perhaps this is why we received Newsweek magazine’s Best Customer Service Award two years in a row. And right now, as the world faces a challenge unlike most of us have ever experienced, helping people is more important than ever. Our travel consultants have stepped up to the challenge, assisting customers with changing and canceling their travel plans. After all, these are unconventionally frustrating and difficult times, so it’s important to have customer service you can depend on.
The feedback we’ve received has been overwhelmingly positive, and it was certainly our pleasure to help each and every one of these customers. Here are just a few things they had to say:
“After delayed and then canceled flights, we got a phone call from the tour operator (not Liberty Travel) that the tour was canceled. I called Liberty Travel and Judy immediately set to work to find a flight back to Syracuse. She did it! I can’t say enough about the staff at Liberty Travel, New Hartford. No matter how many questions I had or how many things I asked him to look into for me, he has been consistently friendly, courteous, and helpful. And fortunately, we were able to get to a good resolution yesterday. Chris has helped make this aspect of the crisis much more bearable and less stressful than it could have been. “I called Barbara when I was scrambling to find a way home for my daughter during the coronavirus travel ban because she was on a semester abroad in Berlin. There was no coherent information from the government and airlines were price gouging, so it was unclear the best way to get her home. I called Barbara many times. She looked up lots of different scenarios and was very responsive. She ended up getting my daughter home on a direct flight and saved me $200!
