Being a travel consultant is extremely fulfilling because being trusted to plan someone's dream vacation is exciting and rewarding. My favorite part of my career is hearing the fabulous stories when customers return from vacation. They are eager to share and I always look forward to their return, so I can welcome them back home. When it comes to my own travels I am definitely the over-packer (sigh). I cannot leave home without my earbuds, downloaded movies to stream on my phone without the use of wifi, and last but not least, a few snacks. No matter where I am in the world, it's comforting to have a few yummy treats from back home.
