The Fun Never Ends in the Dominican Republic
LT Globetrotter
Anyone familiar with the Caribbean knows that the beaches in the Dominican Republic are idyllic, and for some, enjoying the crystal-clear waters is all you need to fill your days with joy. But for those seeking a different type of entertainment, Punta Cana, DR offers adventure, excitement, and fun… day and night, both on and off the resorts. We recently traveled to Punta Cana and are amazed by how much fun we had in just three short days. To help us get our heads around what an awesome experience it was, we wrote it all down for you. Ready for a great time?
Scape Park
First, there’s Scape Park, an adrenaline-packed adventure park that includes everything from Ziplines to waterslides, as well as waterfalls and underground swimming caves. Our personal favorite? Hoyo Azul. Tucked away at the end of a 15-minute walk through nature, this hidden gem offers serenity and majestic beauty, boasting the most stunning turquoise waters you’ll ever see. The best part? A quick dip refreshes you after your journey to the deep blue, so jump in—the water’s great!
TRS Cap Cana
After a morning of adventure at Scape Park, you’ll want to cool off back at the hotel pool. We recommend staying at the TRS Cap Cana, an adults-only, all-inclusive resort in the exclusive gated community of Cap Cana. The pool deck there is fabulous, lively, and comes complete with an ever-popular swim-up bar. Oh, and did we mention foam-filled pool parties?
Listen, it doesn’t matter how old you are… bubbles are fun at any age. If you ever wondered what it’s like to take a giant bubble bath while listening to the sounds of today’s latest club beats, you’ll want to check the foam parties at the TRS Cap Cana. Complete with a DJ, an emcee, and electrifying, fist-pumping energy, this pool party will bring a smile to your face and a rush of adrenaline to your soul. It’s an afternoon of good times and a great reminder that you’re on island time… so keep calm and bubble on.
The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino
If you’re amped up after the foam party, we recommend heading over to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino to keep the party rockin’. We started out at the Eclipse Terrace, which overlooks tranquil waters but offers a groovy, lounge-type vibe with live music and tasty cocktails. Later in the evening, we took it inside to Oro, the most exclusive nightclub experience of the Dominican Republic. Featuring both international and local DJs, the party does not stop in Oro—and we’d expect nothing less from the Hard Rock.
So, if you’re looking for a destination that offers beautiful beaches AND a fun-filled agenda for both day and night, Punta Cana is the perfect escape. To learn more about these hotels or for help booking your trip to the Dominican Republic, contact us today.
